The Young Fables (TYF) are the promising Modern Traditional Country™ duo comprised of three-time American Idol vet Laurel Wright and Gretsch endorsed guitarist Wesley Lunsford. The team is best known for having been selected by Shania Twain to appear on USA’s showcase television series Real Country.
The act hails from Maryville, TN and has already collected impressive accolades including the Grand Prize at the Texaco Country Showdown which landed Laurel on the Ryman Auditorium stage at age 16. TYF first engaged and organically expanded their grassroots following while on the road supporting their debut release Two in 2017. They've sold out appearances at the City Winery in Nashville, TN and the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, NC in addition to appearing with such notable acts as Lauren Alaina, Josh Turner, Sara Evans, Chris Janson, Randy Houser, Delta Rae, Liz Longley and Chris Lane. Capturing the ears of three of the industry's most revered names, Keith Urban said they "had me immediately," Big Machine CEO Scott Borchetta praised "a flawless vocal” and Sheryl Crow tweeted, “Just heard The Young Fables in the Nashville Airport. Laurel’s as good as any country singer out there!”
The nationally syndicated Cumulus morning show The Ty Bentli Show embraced the duo featuring them regularly in the hot topic #10MinuteTune segment. In addition, CMT exclusively premiered the music videos for “Completely” and “Half as Good” with both going on to garner regular rotation on country music video channels. Following the launch in May of 2018, the rave reviews and impact of their sophomore release Old Songs, a ten song album produced by the Grammy Award winning Mitch Dane, secured TYF their official debut at the CMA Music Festival on the Spotlight Stage. Their milestone year closed with two breakthroughs. Rolling Stone spotlighted TYF with a “10 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Week” with the release of their adaptation of the Patsy Cline iconic hit “Crazy” stating, “Simple and heartbreakingly direct…a poignant performance that’s as lonely as the song’s lyrics.” Also, via an invitation from Shania Twain, TYF were featured on USA Network’s Real Country premiere featuring the aforementioned Twain alongside Jake Owen, Travis Tritt and special guests Big & Rich. “When I heard Laurel’s voice for the first time, it was just extremely impressive,” said Shaina. “Wes is a perfect partner for Laurel’s voice. I fell in love with these guys as a genuine, authentic talent and sound. We need you in this industry right now.”
The Young Fables are gearing up for the release of their feature documentary 'The Fable of a Song', chronicling a remarkable series of events that rocked TYF in 2018. Meanwhile, high praises from Rolling Stone and THE PLAYHOUSE TOUR (a route of venues and house concerts across America) are helping to secure the team’s spot on the story of country music.

In four years of relentless international touring, Jessica has shared stages with some of the most recognizable names in country and rock music such as Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Richard Marx, Montgomery Gentry, Lonestar, The Allman Betts Band, Phil Vassar, Jo Dee Messina, ZZ Top, and the “Queen of Country” herself, Loretta Lynn.  With one of the most exciting live shows in the business, Jessica has often drawn comparisons to country music superstar Shania Twain.  Sustaining a country music tradition, Jessica is joined on stage by her family, with her dad on bass, mom on background vocals, and husband on lead guitar. Her high-energy and dynamic performances have garnered rave reviews from critics worldwide.

In addition to her success as an international performer, Jessica’s star has shined brightly not only on the musical stage, but also on the world stage, helping to illuminate many humanitarian causes.  As an advocate for our military, the arts, animals, and as a mentor for young women and children worldwide, Jessica was invited to The United Nations this year for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day and also had the honor of singing her country’s National Anthem twice in New York’s famed Madison Square Garden as well as on national television for NASCAR.  In 2020, Jessica was chosen out of hundreds of bands across the United States by The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to be an elite member of American Music Abroad, which will have her traveling to countries across the globe as an ambassador for the USA, bringing American music and culture.

Penning songs with many of Nashville’s top hit writers, her last two singles “Crazy Idea,” and “Let’s Don’t” climbed the charts. "Crazy Idea" broke the Top 50, and “Let’s Don’t” peaked in the Top 40 on American Country Radio in 2018.  She is currently in the studio recording a collection of brand-new songs which will be released throughout the next year off her debut album “Lone Rider.”  The new music, tinged with hints of the blues, soulful rhythms and her deepest lyrics to date will be ushered in with the lead-off single, “Run To,” which was released on April 24, 2020.

On release day, "Run To" charted on the iTunes Country Chart in the Top 10 in both Italy and Austria and in the Top 100 in The United Kingdom.  Since then, Jessica has seen 4 releases chart in the Top 10 on the iTunes Country Chart in 5 different countries, bringing her to a total of 10 charting singles on iTunes in 10 different countries within the last few years.

Jessica’s most recent and third television special, “Jessica Lynn – Live at Dramatic Hall” gives viewers an up-close and intimate look at the woman behind the music like never before.  In this acoustic storytelling performance, Jessica shares her life and memories, putting a twist on some of her most popular hits as well as featuring a host of new music written specifically for this special program.  In the wake of Covid-19 and in addition to this show, the network asked Jessica to film a living room concert special titled, "At Home with Jessica Lynn" that began airing nationwide on Public Television in the fall of 2020.  In addition, due to the pandemic and Jessica turning all of her "touring" online, her concerts have charted every single week on Pollstar's livestream chart and landed her a Top 40 spot in their Top 100 list of Livestreamers of 2020.

With a massive social media presence, reaching over 14 million people a month on Facebook alone, and upcoming tour dates in at least thirteen different countries, Jessica’s star continues to rise and the best is certainly yet to come.
